Reviews of this book:

This research offers a really terrible and unaffordable. The reader cannot forget Villafranca de los Barros (Extremadura, SW Spain). Although you will not know where the city, after reading this book you will know locate on the map of human evil, in anticipation of the Nazi Holocaust (Ramón Sáez Valcárcel).

This text is a key to true recomposition of events element whose memory has now been manipulated, distorted and mutilated (Luis Negró).

Francisco Espinosa Maestre began investigating the repression and the Spanish Civil War in Seville and Huelva (Western Andalusia), reported details of the "Columna de la Muerte" (Column of the Death) came down the Ruta de la Plata from Seville to Badajoz, and Espinosa now comes back to his birthplace, Villafranca de los Barros, and recounts the history of the Spanish Civil War and repression in their village (José María Lama).
